“ How do you make a British girl happy? A cozy tea room and this place really hits the spot. Delicious food, the cakes are a must try, a wide selection of tea, and tasty coffee. In addition, the staff are very friendly and they even have merchandise. Last but absolutely not least is the atmosphere and the building itself. The artwork is beautiful too. It's hard to believe that it's so close to the train station because it feels like a renaissance hideaway; so peaceful and charming. Make sure that you don't miss out on this gem ”
“ Even if you aren't a fan of tea when you enter, you will be on your departure! The restored themed rooms allow you to sample a wide eclectic collection of teas that the staff are more than happy to guide you through. Be sure to have cake, you won't regret it! There is a gift store where to can purchase all kinds of tea and goodies. If all that isn't enough the building alone has an interesting tale to tell. Updated 03/22: Teeleidi has grown since my last review, and the tea selection is really good (and wide) now. Food selection has savory (a lot of keto diet friendly stuff) and sweet (pies, cakes) bites, AND also Teeleidi serves an afternoon tea set as well. It's pretty good for the non existent afternoon tea culture in Finland. ”
“ A Good place. Tea varieties a plenty. You can get tea from the ordinary to the weird. The new place/venue/base is beautiful. Some might think it's hard to find or sort of not so accessible or not near where everything is happening, but I found it easy. Of course I'm local. There's also apple pie, cheese cake, salty pastries, chocolates, honey, tea making paraphernalia and things of that nature and then some. Worth to check it out. The veranda/porch/outside seating is good because there's a covered section and an open yard. There's also a barn type structure adjacent to the building. I suppose you can book/rent rooms for private parties/gettogethers/events. Find out the rest for yourself. Worth a visit. And another good thing is that they don't serve alcohol as far as I know. ”
“ Teeleidi is very special tearoom in Jyväskylä. It's very cosy and comfortable place. You will find lots of new tastes from their huge selection of tea. I like to go there both by myself and with a friend. Alone you can relax and read magazines and books. They offer cakes, bread, afternoon tea etc. And of course you can buy some tea to drink at home. ”
“ Stunning jewel. Best of the town, if not the region. Coffee served as well, timeless perception, mesmerizing. Rightfully earned F O U R stars * * * * ”
“ Excellent tea selection, to drink or to buy home. Very good selection of gluten free options. Afternoon tea with scones was perfect with very delicious tea. Remember to order a few days prior to get your afternoon tea gluten free! ”
“ Entering the tea house you are greeted with an intense and very sweet smell. Not exactly unpleasant on its own but just entirely too much for me. Past that, though, the experience waa excellent. The prices are definitely fair, especially considering the quality of the tea. Service also left nothing to be desired. I had apple pie and Pu'er. I liked both very much. Also, one thing that's always a hit or miss for me were the teacups. Often, tea houses serve pretty, but impractical ones. Here, the cups are pretty, not so large that the tea is cold before you finish your cup, and very comfortable to hold. Almost five stars. ”
“ I love this place, they have a lot of different kind of tea and cakes, and the waitresses are helpful ”
